Tap Dance

Tap Dance

Tap dance was developed in the United States during the nineteenth century and is popular nowadays in many parts of the world. The name comes from the tapping sound made when the small metal plates on the dancer's shoes touch a hard floor. This lively, rhythmic tapping makes the performer not just a dancer but also a percussive musician.

Our Dance Families Thoughts

  • Veronica… wow! The adult dances… unbelievable that you have that many adults participating and putting their all into it! I want to do it! The entire show was very entertaining and enjoyable! I always respect the appropriateness of the dances, especially as little ones turn into teens. The recital was fun, wholesome, and honestly… riveting! Thank you kudos to you and the entire staff, support staff and hardworking dancers that made it happen!
